Hola chicas, it's Marisol Elissa Luna here, making my first ever post! Anyways, just to start things off, I'm going to post a mini biography of myself.

This August, Breck adopted me and now I'm living at Beam Academy. I've made a LOT of friends. I have a lot of "sisters" too, but Nicki's probably told you about those.

Changes

 Hi, guys, it's Nicki. I haven't blogged in forever. Sorry, I've just been busy.

 Since I last blogged, there is a new change. Due to the fact Breck is really reluctant to make blogs for them, my sisters Charlotte and Marisol will be blogging with me. Due to that, I changed the header and the name.

Anyways, Breck is also thinking about getting McKenna's Loft Bed! It would take a LOT of saving, but it would be really cool. I would totally become McKenna's best friend simply to hang out in her bed.

Anyways, that's about it. I'm going to show you some recent pictures of me:

Worries

 I sat down at my desk and grabbed a piece of notebook paper.

My name is Nicki. I am eleven years old. My sisters are named Samantha, Emily, Ruthie, Kirsten, Kelsey, Marie-Grace, Charlotte, and Molly. McKenna is coming soon. I hope that she doesn't replace me as Kelsey's best friend.

I dropped the pencil.

 Charlotte appeared behind me.
"Nicki."
"What, Char?"
"You don't have to worry about McKenna replacing you."
"But Charlotte, McKenna is Kelsey's cousin. I'm not. I'm just her best friend. And I'm worried that she'll replace me!"
"Nicki, calm down. McKenna will not replace you. You'll still be friends with Kelsey. And if not, you can always be friends with me."

"Thanks Char, that's just what I needed."

What is Happening? Part 2

 Ruthie resumed her crying as Marie-Grace comforted her.
"Ruthie, Breck won't sell us. Calm down."

Kelsey turned around.
"She's not selling us. She's still going to Kansas City. I just heard her tell her mom something about 'I can't wait to go to Kansas City with Liz and get McKenna.' She said something about a birthday party too. Maybe that's why we're in here."
Emily yawned.
"Good idea, Kels. I'm going back to bed. I'm tired."
 Ruthie turned around in shock.
"It's just a birthday party? So we aren't going to be sold?"
"Yep," Kelsey said.

That resulted in cheers from all of us.

I will update soon when I can get out of the closet on Saturday afternoon!

Meet me, Nicki Jo.

 My name is Nicole "Nicki" Jo Fleming. I am the Girl of the Year 2007 for American Girl, and my human has owned me ever since she was 7.

 I have 8 sisters currently, Samantha, Emily, Ruthie, Kirsten, Kelsey, Marie-Grace, Charlotte, and Molly. All of them except for Kelsey and Charlotte are from the past. Kelsey and Charlotte are the other modern dolls.

I have been through a million new dolls arriving. The next one after me, Ruthie, came from the store in Dallas. She only came because she was new. Kirsten came because of the retirement, and I don't remember much after that. I was put in a box and shoved under a bed. When Kelsey arrived, Breck took me out of the box. She was constantly taking pictures of Kelsey and not me. After Kelsey came Marie-Grace. Breck squealed and took her outside for a photo shoot. Then Charlotte came. Another photo shoot along with some screaming. Molly got her own video of her being opened.

 I will try to update periodically on this blog. It will be the Story of Me. (But the name and stuff won't change, and other things besides stories will be posted.

What is Happening???

Last night, Breck packed up all of our clothing and accessories, along with my dog and Kelsey's cat. This afternoon, she grabbed our bed, my trunk, and my horse and put them in a closet. Then she brought back some boxes and started putting us in our boxes one by one.
 Then she put us in the closet.

 As she shut the door, I hear some screams of confusion. I opened my eyes and saw Ruthie in her box across from me.
"Nicki, what if Breck is putting us in here for good? I don't want to be sold!" A tear leaked out of her eye.
 Molly flicked her braid. "She just got me yesterday and Charlotte two days before that! She's not selling us yet!"
 Charlotte looked around. "Well, at least we have plenty of space."
"But it doesn't matter if we have lots of space if we're gonna get sold!" Ruthie, always the worrier, moaned.
"Ruthie, it's okay. We're not going to be sold." Samantha comforted her.
"Easy for you to say! If she keeps any of us, it'll be you because you're her first doll!"
"Ruthie, listen. I've been kept in a box for about 2 1/2 years. She's not going to sell us. She didn't sell us even after she lost interest. You're fine. She'll keep us. She has to," Kirsten said.
"Quick, she's coming!" Molly yelled. "Back in the boxes!"

 Breck opened the doors and picked up Kelsey. A few minutes later, she came back with her hair all smooth and silky.

"It's just like cows being prepared for slaughter!" Ruthie cried.
"Ruthie, calm down!" Emily yelled.
"Ruthie, please stop panicking," Marie-Grace said.
"Oh my gosh, guys. What is Breck doing with us?"

A LOVELY POSTER STARRING ME!

Here is the first poster for Breck and Liz's upcoming series, Superstar. I play Lily Weathers, a nice girl who decides to befriend Charlotte while she is undercover at the school. Lily is a fashionista and she will be a fun character to play. Filming will hopefully start after Breck and Liz go to Kansas City, due to the fact we need the dolls they will buy there for two important characters.

This series will hopefully be coming later in the summer.

{A Note From Nicki's Human, Breck: All that Nicki told you about Superstar is true, and Liz and I hope to make it soon. For the poster, I was thinking of maybe selling it on Etsy when I can print it off.}

Meaning of Names!

 Breck was bored this morning so she decided to google the meanings of me and my sister's names! Includes commentary from me!


Samantha- Listen; name of God
I have a feeling that Samantha will get all stuck up about this one and tell us that it means we need to listen to her because she's a name of God or something confusing like that.

Emily- Industrious
Still confusing. This is supposed to mean that Emily is a hard worker or something I guess?

Nicki (ME!)-  Abbreviation of Nicole; victory
This one makes perfect sense. My name is Nicole but I go by Nicki, and I am victorious over my other sisters.

Ruthie- Companion; friend; vision of beauty
URGH! This one makes me very mad because Ruthie is not a vision of beauty! Her hair gets all messy and takes forever to fix. I shall say no more on this one. :(

Kirsten- Follower of Christ
I can see this one.

Kelsey- Brave
This one could also be true.

Marie-Grace- I couldn't find any results for this one, so I did Marie- bitter and Grace- God's favor.
This one makes no sense at all! Marie-Grace isn't bitter at all!

I Went Riding Today :)

 As evidenced by the title, today I went on a ride with my horse Jackson.
And as usual, my human was there snapping pictures the whole time :)

I might upload more later, I was just too lazy to search through more pictures.

And on a side note, last night Emily and I WENT.CRAZY.AND.IT.WAS.SO.MUCH.FUN.
We did film some hilarious videos of our stalker-like behavior with THE HAYGOODS :). Please, do yourself a favor and go to The Haygoods and watch some of their videos. They are seriously amazing. And Em will probably KILL me for saying this, but she has a huge crush on Michael, the guitar player. And I like Dominic......

Nicki Reviews: Sweetheart Pajamas

 

 Today I am reviewing the Sweetheart Pajamas made by American Girl. The model is my sister, Emily Rose Bennett. Enjoy this review!


To the left <------- is a picture of Emily modeling the top and shorts.

To the bottom is a closeup of the shirt. This shirt is fairly nice, I believe it to be made of cotton. It could also pass as a t-shirt if necessary. Grade A

 Here is a view of the shorts from the front. They are also cute, also made of cotton, and have little drawstrings to adjust them. They may be hard to get over historical doll's underwear (I had to take Emily's off.) Grade: A-

 The back of the outfit. As you can see, the top doesn't close fully on my chubby "Pleasant Company" stamped Emily. I doubt it would fit an older Pre-Mattel doll. It's only because Emily is from 2006 and they could possibly still have Pleasant Company neckstamps.

 The slipper boots. Ah, where to begin? I have mixed emotions about these. They are very, very cute on most of the dolls, but they bunch weirdly around the top if you don't put them on just so and it's very hard to tell which one goes on which foot. Grade: B

 Full ensemble. I like it enough to give it an A-. The issues with the slipper boots and tightness on some dolls bring it down from an A+. But overall, it is still very cute and worth $24.

A NEW Special Series for you to get excited about :)

 I, Nicki Jo, will be starting a new feature on this blog with my human, Breck.
It's called "Nicki Reviews" and we will basically review a bunch of AG stuff.

Breck will start it whenever she can get some pictures done of stuff.
I believe the first outfit is the Sweetheart Pajamas.

All of my pictures are straight out of the camera except for putting a watermark or name on them, which I do with Pic Monkey, an alternative to Picnik. And they are all taken by my human, who is awesome. She buys me things and sisters and stuff. She rules. :)

 And fyi, I <3 comments. It's the simple things in life that make things awesome. So please leave a comment if you want a cookie or something. Or maybe your blog followed. I am an insanely obsessive blog follower.


 Anyways, let's get back to the point. I, Nicki Jo Fleming. I love animals, and if any new girls come, they usually come with a pet. Like McKenna. Her doggie is coming and we will share him, I think. His name is Cooper.
 I also have one cousin that I know of. Breck hasn't gotten her yet, but her name is Macie Rebecca Fleming... she's number 56.
